New Features for 2009-2010
USA Rugby will be offering new membership registration features for 2009-2010. The most recent available upgrades include:
• Youth & Adult Waiver — Our insurance provider now requires separate waivers, confirmation of medical insurance and releases for adults (over 18 on the date of registration) and youth (under 18 on the date of registration) members at the time of registration and to be maintained by the club. The waiver will remain in the same order within the registration flow, but club administrators will need to be aware of the difference with the adult and/or minor members. We will make this as clear as possible throughout the competition season to help club administrators understand and comply with this requirement of our insurance provider. We appreciate your assistance in advance to help communicate this requirement.
• Early Certificate of Insurance Availability – Any club that purchases their membership registration on or after August 14th, will have the option to request a copy of USA Rugby’s General Liability insurance policy prior to having 15 Active members on their public roster. Club’s that register early and request a COI will be given a grace period until Monday, September 17th to obtain the required number of Active members on their public roster. This will allow clubs to secure practice and match fields prior to the start of their competitive seasons.
Updates to USA Rugby’s Member Information and Privacy In anticipation of 2009-2010 registration cycle, USA Rugby has update its Member Information and Privacy Policy. These updates are available on http://www.usarugby.org/goto/membership_privacy.
