Congratulations to Austin Rugby Club II’s and Dallas Athletic Rugby Club for qualifying for the Western RFU playoffs in two weeks.
DARC beat University of St. Thomas Men in the opening semi-final (38-22) while Austin II defeated OKC Crusaders in the second semi-final (54-30).
In the final, DARC took advantage of a strong wind to take the first half lead. Likewise, Austin II used the same wind to pressure DARC over the next 40 minutes and take the lead with a try in the corner with 1:30 remaining. Final 22-21.
