After some recent administrative and team restructuring, Texas A&M Rugby has found itself in need of three applicants to fill the newly opened positions of Head Coach, Forwards Coach and Backs Coach. Former Head Coach Craig Coates is staying as Director of Rugby, and our team is in need of well qualified, experienced personnel to take on the team’s coaching responsibilities and lead the players into the 2011-2012 season and the future.
As a nationally ranked team striving for excellence, Texas A&M Rugby is a member of the College Premier Division and currently competes against some of the nations most competitive teams such as Arkansas State University, Louisiana State University and Life University. Texas A&M Rugby is now accepting applications for anyone interested in any of the above positions. The club is looking for coaches with a vast assortment of prior experience within the sport of rugby. Qualified applicants should possess the following attributes: professionalism, team commitment and a greater understanding of the modern game of rugby.
