D3 Finals: OKC vs Alamo City (updated)

The OKC Crusaders had a statement game when they took on Galveston in the first semi-final match.  The Crusaders dominated the scoreline through out and won easily.  Final score 79-5.

The second semifinal was one of the best D3 matches all season with Alamo City taking on Austin Rugby Clubs D1B side.  The game was close throughout with Alamo City taking a small 12-8 lead at half time. AC finished strong and pulled away in the end to win 45-26.

Both OKC and Alamo City will advance to Westerns in Omaha, NE in two weeks. Both teams will play for the Championship Trophy  SUNDAY MORNING AT 9AM due to weather concerns in the DFW.

UPDATE:  Report from windy and soggy Dallas is that OKC is the Texas D3 Champion with a 27-24 win over Alamo City.  Congratulations to OKC and best of luck to them and Alamo City at Westerns.

Thanks to all the Teams, Players, Coaches, Fans, Organizers and TRRA team members for putting on the event.  Special Thanks to Pablo Septein of Mexico for coming in town as the lead referee for the event.
