7s Eligibility Reminder

RRRC TOLA SevensAs we transition to the sevens competitive season, please accept this reminder of upcoming senior club eligibility deadlines: all clubs must achieve compliance before Sunday June 15th, 2014, at 11:59 pm MST, all individuals must be reflected on their club’s public roster, either by virtue of initial registration or an electronic transfer request, by Tuesday July 1st, 2014 at 11:59 pm MST. To fully understand this deadline, we strongly encourage you to reference the USA Rugby Eligibility Regulations.

Club compliance for seven-a-side competition is achieved when an active coach, primary contact, and nine players appear on a given club’s public roster.

Remember that players must appear on their club’s public roster before July 1st in order to participate in qualifying competition, inclusive of the postseason and national championship. This deadline applies to you if:

  • You are currently registered with a club that is not the club you plan on playing with for the sevens competitive season
  • You have not yet registered
  • You desire transfer for any other reason

If unregistered, please remember to register in advance of the deadline. Reference our registration FAQs with any questions regarding registration. If you are registered but desire transfer, you must submit a transfer request to USA Rugby before 11:59 pm MST on Sunday July 1st, 2014. Please reference the instructions that precede the electronic transfer request to learn of required documentation.

Coaches and club administrators may view public rosters here. If you do not appear on your club’s public roster, utilize the member search to view your club affiliation. Registrations may be accomplished at your convenience with the red ‘register’ button in the upper right of all USA Rugby webpages.
