The RRRC Competitions Committee and the TRU have approved the venues, hosts and competition guidelines for the 2014 RRRC Competitive 7s Series. The Competition Guidelines & Schedule can be found here. In order to participate, all clubs must be compliant no later than June 15th and players must complete any required CIPP transfer no later than June 27th if they wish to play in the first qualifier (6/28) or July 1st if they wish to play in any qualifier or be eligible for the national championship tournament. We also recommend that all teams that wish to participate should review the 7s Eligibility Reminder post.
All teams wishing to compete in the RRRC championship circuit should contact their 7s representative prior to the first tournament to ensure that all paperwork (Passport or birth certificate must be presented to establish eligibility) requirements are met and guidelines are followed (ie. participation fee is paid). Please also note that all participating teams in the Series must complete the RRRC 7s Participation Agreement. Registration payment can be made either online (subject to additional 3% fee) OR the morning of the tournament in person (check or cash).
Teams must state their intention to compete in each tournament as soon as possible to 7s Director, Filip Keuppens. If teams are not registered for tournaments or comply with roster requirements by the deadlines in the competition document, they will forfeit their right to participate in any event until they meet compliance requirements.
