The University of Texas Women’s Rugby club started in 2007 with a group of players hardly big enough for a full competitive side. Today, with the help of passionate coaches devoted to the growth of the team, Texas Women’s Rugby reached national attention when they won 1st in the Southern division during 15s play in the Spring of 2012 and then ranked 4th nationally in the National Collegiate Rugby Championships in Fall of 2012. Since then, Texas Women’s Rugby has continued to grow, making a name for themselves in the Southwest Women’s Conference while also shaping players to contend on the national level.

The club is looking for a devoted head coach to continue to push for success. Individual must be committed, passionate, and love the game of rugby. Players will be rookies and veterans alike, so we are looking for someone who loves teaching fundamentals to new players while also striving to progress the organization. If you are someone who is enthusiastic about the game of rugby and would like to share that passion with young collegiate players, we ask that you apply.

Previous coaching/playing experience preferred. Unpaid part-time position, stipends offered for gas and/or flights.
