Pre-Course Work: The course requires you complete several online courses before attending. After completion, the resulting PDF certificates must uploaded to USA Rugby’s Learning Center before certification will be granted. You will not be able to obtain qualification without completing these steps:
- Confirm your RX Learning Account
- Once confirmed USAR will add you into the registration for the course and send you further details about the course
- SafeSport (required annually)
- Rugby Safety Basics
Before refereeing, you will also need to be complete a background check (every 2 years). The background check will be auto-generated once you register as a coach in RX and can take 2-3 weeks to return.
All courses include a ticket to the Friday night Welcome Social, lunch (on the given course day(s)) and a T-shirt. We will request your desired T-shirt size closer to the event.
