This Level 1 Strength and Conditioning course is designed to provide beginners with basic knowledge and understanding of strength and conditioning and a foundation of practical skills. The course will expand on the physical conditioning content in the Rugby Ready course. It is intended for all coaches, referees, players, administrators, parents, and others who are involved with rugby. Participants do not need to have previous experience in Strength & Conditioning as this course primarily centers around preparing athletes to perform and recover. The World Rugby Pre-Level 1 Strength and Conditioning is a requirement for this course.

2019 TRU Summit

The Texas Rugby Union is holding our fifth annual Regional Development Summit on August 23-25 in Allen, TX at the Courtyard Dallas Allen at the John Q. Hammons Center. For the courses that require outdoor facilities we’ve partnered with the Allen High School rugby team to use their fields.

This event is for rugby folk of all levels including adults, college, high school, youth, men, women, fans, coaches, referees, players and really anyone that loves rugby. Join us for an entire weekend full of learning, development, networking and socializing.
