TRU Skills Camp and Coaching Clinics

Texas Skills Camps and Training

Texas Rugby Coaches of all levels,

Reach out of the box and get involved in your development. We have heard the cry from numerous coaches that we need to bring in some Top USA Staff to push the game of rugby in TX to the next level. Well, here is your chance to improve your skill set!

Have you had enough of the USA Coaching Certification process? Do the basics get tiresome at training? Are you ready to learn some new skills to change up training? Do you need a solution or drill to get the players to take it up to the next level? Are you just starting out in coaching rugby?

In Houston, we will have a two part session. We will have the USA Scrum Coach Bill LeClerc in house to review “Mastering the Mechanics of the Scrum.” Bill is going to review the basics of the scrum in a short session before he moves into the complexities of scrumming. Also, he will customize the session to those who attend. So, if you have a specific issue and you need a solution, then submit that question when you register with Michael.

The 2nd session will be Jason Payne’s “Skill Sessions”. He will design the session around those in attendance to address your specific coaching wants and needs. Just submit what you are looking for to Michael prior to the camp.

Please send Michael Engelbrecht a confirmation email at mengelbrecht@quins.com . When you RSVP to Michael, please submit some items, drills, or game situations that you would like Jason and Bill to address.
