BACKGROUND
The Churchill Cup returns to Colorado this summer, marking the second consecutive year North America’s premier XV-a-side rugby tournament will be staged solely in the United States.

This year will see the U.S. Eagles, Canada, England Saxons, and tournament newcomers France A, Russia and Uruguay play double headers at Infinity Park, Glendale – the first municipally-owned rugby-specific stadium in North America – on June 5, 9 and 13. These pool stages build toward a tripleheader finals day at Red Bull Arena, home of the New York Red Bulls Major League Soccer side, on June 19.

This is the showcase event in June for what Lt. Gov. Barbara O’Brien has officially declared “Colorado Rugby Month”. Tickets for the 2010 Churchill Cup are currently on sale through www.churchillcuprugby.net.
