The TRU men’s collegiate division one is a part of the Western Collegiate Competition. As part of the competition there is not a end of season championship tournament. The West uses a league points table to determine its champion.
To that point, Texas State University has been officially declared the League Champion!
The deciding match was played last week with Texas State defeating the University of Texas 22-0.
UT has completed all of its matches and Texas State has one more remaining match with Texas Tech. The result of this match is inconsequential as Texas State has enough points that taken them clear of all challengers.
Congrats to Texas State and the other D1 Colleges for a very competitive league season.
