Lost Afternoon…don’t be left out!!!

The Lost Afternoon Rugby Luncheon on June 22 has established itself as the annual must-attend Houston rugby event.  In just four short years, we have brought in speakers such as English captain and former Lion Nigel Melville; Eddie O’Sullivan, three time winner of the Triple Crown with Ireland and former Eagles coach; John Rutherford, Scottish fly half; George Hook of RTE & coaching fame; Springbok legend Rob Louw; Brian Vizard, former Eagle captain; and now Roly Meates, Irish coach (75-77) and long time coach of Leinster. This would be an impressive list in Dublin, London, or the southern hemisphere, and even more so in Houston.

The 2012 luncheon is fast filling up, so we are giving a head’s up to all in Texas Rugby before we make a last push to the Houston business community.  Clubs past & present like the Houston Old Boys, Strikers, and Heathens have bought tables.  Many from the Houston RFC will be there, as well as out-of-town friends like the Austin Rugby Club and even the KC Blues who were kind enough to sponsor tables.  If you are getting in early for the USA Italy match why not come by?  Remember, tickets are available only on line, and in advance; tickets are not available at the door.

All proceeds go to benefit Houston Youth Rugby Association, Inc. a Texas non-profit.  We are more than happy to take your check if a donation without your presence is of interest.

If you have interest in holding a similar event in your city please ask Malcolm Douglas as he is more than willing to assist you.

See you on Friday, June 22.
