The TRU is committed to developing programs that TRU Member Clubs are interested in participating in order to reach their goals. Therefore, the Board proposed the 2013 Texas Sevens Series Championships (TSS). However, due to a lack of committed Clubs, the TSS will be not be launched at this time.
Texas will hopefully have a qualifying pathway into the USA 7s Championships, possibly in 2014, so the Board invites any TRU Member Club to contact a Board Member to express their particular desires in such a series. The Board wishes to help create a competition that achieves the goals of its members while ensuring the safety of its participants and heightened level of professionalism and competition. We also invite each Club to attend the upcoming Summer AGM where this program and others will be discussed.
For 2013 the TOLA Sevens Series has been reinstated.
