The USA Rugby National Collegiate Rugby Scholar Honor Roll was created to acknowledge the outstanding academic accomplishments of college rugby student-athletes. Since 2011, over one thousand college players have been recognized for their hard work in the classroom.
To be nominated, a college rugby student-athlete must:
- have a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- be at least a junior (third academic year).
- be in a second year of competition with their current college team.
- be an A-side player, starter or key reserve.
A coach, team president or club sports director may nominate deserving student athletes for the Honor Roll. Each nomination submitted must be accompanied by a valid copy of each collegiate student-athlete’s most recent transcript.
