The RRRC 7s Series has completed and we’d like to congratulate the Dallas Reds on taking the men’s seed and representing our union at the USA Rugby National Club 7s Championships. To get there, they defeated NOLA in the final 17-0. Although both teams are tied in the standings, the Reds take it in tie breakers.
On the women’s side we previously announced that ARPTC Blue and White snagged the two women’s seeds and will represent our union at the USA Rugby National Club 7s Championships.
The USA Rugby National Club 7s are August 10-11 in Kansas City, MO. All matches will be live and available to watch on Flo Rugby.
TOLA
On the TOLA side, Reds had a great weekend as their second side took home the top spot and now have 18 points. Huns 2 still have the top spot with 20 points and NOLA 2 has fallen behind with 13 points.
For the women, the sHARCs took home the title. The Lady Quins are on top though with 20 points, followed by the Valkyries with 16 points and the Reds are in third with 12 points.
All that is left of the TOLA 7s series is Cherrybone 7s in Woodlands, TX on August 3 and then the TOLA Championship in Shreveport, Horseshoes 7s on August 10. This weekend is pivotal for the top teams as they moved closer to the Championship.
