The last two stops of the TOLA 7s series proved to be critical! At Cherrybone, the Huns came in with 20 points, Dallas had 18 and NOLA had 13. In the end, the Huns won Cherrybone setting up a showdown with Dallas at Shreveport 7s.
On the women’s side, the Quins led the pack with 20 points before Cherrybone 7s. Chasing them was the Valkyries with 16 points and the Reds were in third with 12 points. The Cherrybone final included the sHARCs and San Antonio Riveters, with the sHARCS taking home the title.
At Shreveport 7s, the men’s bracket had 8 teams that Dallas and Austin had to conquer to get the final. Each did it in their own way but Dallas prevailed in the Cup final. However, with overall TOLA points, the Huns take home the 2019 TOLA 7s Men’s title.
On the women’s side, the DARC Dames took home their first Cup final at Shreveport 7s! The Lady Quins had the points in the bag though and they take home the 2019 TOLA 7s Women’s title.
