- WD2
- Young: Please note that the WD2 Festival is canceled and late last week HARC alerted us that they are having a hard time fielding enough eligible players. Adding a second side stretched them a bit more than anticipated and having a match out of state on the same date as Championships caused the perfect storm. Since the Festival is already canceled, we weren’t able to pull any teams up. We’re working with HARC to create a motley side as we know that any team having a bye and one less match is unfair.
- Young 4/21: Unfortunately we weren’t able to find enough players to have a side that would be safe to play. As a result HARC have forfeited the match and the Quins will move on to the Championship on Sunday. McPhail recommended that we follow precedent from last year’s Super Regionals where this occurred and allow extended replacements for the Quins eventual opponent. This was approved unanimously by the TRU and RRRC women’s reps via email yesterday evening.
- Extended Replacements: The team that faces the advancing team on Sunday will have the benefit of 13 replacements (i.e. the team’s full 28 player roster). If the team has 28 players, it can use all 13 replacements to take advantage of the additional 5 replacements beyond its 23-player match roster. If the team that prevails on Saturday has fewer than 28 players rostered and checked in for the weekend, the team must play all of its rostered players before a player taken off as a tactical replacement may reenter the match (i.e., before the team can exercise “on and off” rights).

- Weather
- Young: We’re expecting rain on Thursday and possibly Friday as well. We’ve checked with Hansel and he confirmed that the fields drain really well and they will hold up to any inclement weather. There is also still a chance of rain on Sunday so we ask that teams prepare accordingly. There will be some tents available from the hosts but you may consider bringing your own.
- Tate: The concern shouldn’t be the playing surface as it drains really well but it’s the access and parking that might be a bit muddy.
- McPhail: Yes, the rain is Thursday and Friday so we should be good. Will be in the high 60s but low 40s for early kick-offs.
- Young: Brrrr.
- Streaming
- Young: All matches will be streamed on our Youtube channel! I did talk to our partner and if there is HEAVY HEAVY rain on Sunday they may not be able to live broadcast. They will make every effort to record matches for eventual upload but that may also not be possible.
- Qualified Teams Paperwork
- Young: Teams are starting to get in there required paperwork, all the pre-paperwork is due Thursday evening by 5pm. McPhail and I will be doing all the pre-checks this week.

- Tate: Event is in Orlando, FL so winners will move on to that next round for most of our divisions. Do we have information that we can give to the teams?
- McPhail: Yes, we’ve received a bit more info in the form of a website and a Google Document that has most of the information.
- Young: Dave, are you going on behalf of the TRU?
- McPhail: Yes, I am all booked for the weekend.

- Tate: Great, so it looks like we have a tentative schedule.
- Young: Yes, I still need to get it posted…have been swamped with Championships.
- Tate: Shawn, do you see any issues with the 7s schedule?
- Martin: The only one that is concerning is June 17 because it is a home Jackals match, Bloodfest and PR 7s.
- Tate: Ok, please reach out to the Huns for help with Bloodfest as they can probably cover some of the Super Social matches.
- Martin: Yes, they will be contracting with Lonestar for the Super Social, so we only have the premier and club divisions.
- Club 7s Nationals – Aug 12 & 13
