Join us for the Red River Rugby Championships on April 12 in DFW!
The 2025 RRRC Championships are set for April 12 at Lake Highlands Park in Dallas, TX, hosted by Dallas RFC. If you can’t be there in person, all matches will be streamed live on our YouTube channel, weather permitting.
This year’s format has changed slightly. Only Men’s Division 2 and 3 have opted to include semifinal matches, which took place the week prior on April 5, hosted by the higher-seeded teams. Winners from those matches now advance to the RRRC Championships, earning their shot at the title.
Championship matches kick off at 10:00 AM and run through late afternoon. Concessions will be available at the field with food, water, and alcohol for purchase (no outside alcohol allowed). Porta-potties will be located throughout the park.
Parking is free but extremely limited. We urge all attendees to follow posted signs around the neighborhood and carpool if possible.
Fans can watch matches from the east side of Field 1 and the south side of Field 3. The area between the fields is reserved for players, administrators, match officials, and announcers. Bleachers are limited, so bring your own chair for comfort.
The eventual RRRC Champions will advance to the 2025 Gulf Coast Super Regional, hosted by True South on May 3-4 at Pelican Park in Mandeville, LA. Our Men’s and Women’s Division 1 Champions will advance directly to the USA Club National Championships on May 16-18, 2025, as the Gulf Coast does not have those divisions available.

About the Matches
The day begins with a North vs. South battle in the Men’s Division 4 Final, where defending champions Collin County face a high-powered Woodlands side that led the South with six wins.
In Women’s Division 3, it’s the rubber match between Dallas RFC and the OKC Mountain Boomers. The two split their regular-season meetings, and now meet one last time with the title on the line.
The Men’s Division 3 Final features the undefeated Austin Blacks, who cruised through the regular season and took down Tulsa in the semifinals. They’ll meet the Houston Arrows, who edged San Antonio for their spot in the final. These two didn’t face off during the season, adding even more intrigue to the matchup.
Little Rock returns to the Women’s Division 2 Final as defending champions, having bested San Antonio Riveters in both regular-season meetings. The Riveters will be looking to break through and flip the script in Dallas.
In Men’s Division 2, it’s a rematch between the Austin Blacks and Dallas RFC. Austin is undefeated and knocked out defending champs HURT in the semifinals, while Dallas posted a dominant shutout over San Antonio. Austin won the regular-season meeting handily, but anything can happen on finals day.
The Women’s Division 1 Final guarantees a new champion, with Dallas Quins and sHARCs squaring off for the third time this season. They split their earlier meetings—each winning by five or fewer points—making this final matchup the decider.
*The day ends with the last Men’s Division 1 Premiership league match which is essentially a formality as the Austin Blacks have already clinched the title.
