    • Hansel has already deleted a match due to lack of compliance for min number of registrations.  Please push all your members to get Coaching updates done asap as those will likely require background checks.

  • RX items
    • RX is up and running.  Please have clubs verify schedule, location, dates, times, etc.
    • Make sure to recreate your team admins.
    • Reminder: TRRA will be using RX for assignments so hope is no more WTR as second source of data and potential conflicting data.

    • From RRRC Competitions Committee Notes – 5/12/25 – Texas Rugby Union the MD3/4 hybrid conference clubs are to confirm division before play begins.
      • The deadline is Wednesday, Oct-1st.

      • MD3/4 Central Hybrid
    • WD1 Grants from USAR for adding Life U W to comp
      • Post was seen online that World Rugby will invest $250 million into USA Rugby in support of the 2031 & 2033 World Cups.  TBD how much trickles down to Club/GU/SCC in the form grants.
    • Per Florida President, Miami will be in the MD1 comp.  Thus, the assumption is that we will have a GCSR MD1 final between the Miami Tridents & RRRC winner.
    • RRRC for Women D2 & D3
    • WD1 assumption is that we will have a GCSR WD1 final.
    • Per Carolina, AOW is looking at MD2 again, but there is still discussion about the possibility of moving them up to D1.  Likely to have a GC call on the matter soon.
    • Call for Hosting Bids has been published on TRU website & Facebook; effective Sept-6th.
    • Women’s Competition Update:
      • Discussion regarding Alliance Women dropping out of the WD3 competition.  Players have largely moved to FTW women.
      • Haley to talk to Clubs for feedback and look at all options available for the RRRC to consider.

    • Running tests in RX to test the Assignment and Card Reporting functionality.
    • Game Management Guidelines for 2025-26 (reminder):
    • Clinics in the regions to assist with new Reg training.
    • Several new members signed up!
  • Events
    • RRRC Elections:
      • 2025 TRU & RRRC Elections Results – Texas Rugby Union 
      • Congratulations to John Dale, Jeff Wegman, and Haley Hunter as returning representatives to the RRRC.
      • MD2 ended in a tie.  Run-Off was sent out to MD2 clubs and will run through this Wednesday, Sept-10th.
        • Update:  Congratulations to Carlos Batrez (HURT) who has been certified as the run-off winner.
      • Chair to be elected after confirmation of all representatives being confirmed.  At that time, the Reps will vote on David McPhail or Ethan McGowan.
        • Update:  Per discussion of the Committee Members during the meeting, it was suggested that Mr. McGowan was contacted post meeting and offered a working role under the guidance of John Kurylas (At Large / D4 Rep).  Mr. McGowan has accepted the offer from John.  Additionally, Mr. McGowan has withdrawn his nomination for the Chair position.  Leaving David McPhail as the unopposed nominee.
