    • MD2: Welcome Carlos Batrez (HURT) to the Committee.  Run-off winner from last month.  Replaces Gordon Hanlon who we offer our sincere thanks for his service.

  • RX items
    • RX is up and running.  Please have clubs verify schedule, location, dates, times, etc.
    • Make sure to recreate your team admins.
    • Reminder: TRRA will be using RX for assignments so hope is no more WTR as second source of data and potential conflicting data.

    • Forfeits
      • Arkansas Gryphons vs Tulsa (MD3)
        • Gryphons forfeited originally scheduled the game due to low numbers.
          • Registered: Gryphons 19 vs Tulsa 38
        • Per discussions with both Presidents, various attempts to find alternative dates/locations failed. 
        • McPhail spoke to both on Friday, Oct-10th.  Requested both find a suitable date or RRRC would intervene and adjudicate the matter.
        • McPhail proposed the match be played on Saturday, Mar-21st.  Open date for both teams.  Gryphons would be on the road back to back and Tulsa home back to back. 
        • The weekend of Mar-28th is the 2nd of two make-up weekends.  The desire is to keep this date open.
        • $300 fine for late notification by Gryphons. 
        • Set date change to March 21st – date is make up weekend but was recommended by TRRA based on current schedule / referee travel commitments.

    • From RRRC Competitions Committee Notes – 5/12/25 – Texas Rugby Union the MD3/4 hybrid conference clubs are to confirm division before play begins.
      • The deadline was extended to Oct 6th.
        • No response from Alliance or Alamo City per John K email dated 10/13/25.
        • Based on lack of response from Alamo City and low registration count moving them to MD4. AC to confirm/appeal by deadline mentioned above

      • Call for Hosting Bids has been published on TRU website & Facebook; effective Sept-6th.

          • Per Florida GU – Tridents to remain MD1

        • RRRC vs Life University – Suggest having Texas 2nd and 3rd play at RRRC’s and have Texas 1st play Life Univ at GCSR weekend.  No other teams in the region play D1 and top RRRC teams need the match time prior to Nationals.

        • RRRC, Florida, True South.  Carolina was not approved by the 15s Comp to advance through TS comp as that guaranteed two teams from one comp.  RRRC has 8 teams – 1 Pathway.  Florida has 9 teams – 1 Pathway.  True South proposal would be for 4 teams and 2 Pathways.
          • Needs to be communicated with Carolina & True South.
          • Needs to be advanced from 15s Committee to SCC.
