TRU 7’s Season Approaching: Tournament Dates Announced, Bids Now Open
The Texas Rugby Union 7’s season is quickly approaching, and planning is underway for another exciting summer of rugby across the region. Clubs, tournament organizers, and supporters should keep an eye on upcoming updates as the calendar continues to take shape.
Confirmed RRRC 7’s Qualifier Dates
Two tournament dates for the Red River Rugby Conference (RRRC) 7’s qualifiers have been confirmed:
- Bloodfest 7’s – June 20
- Choctaw 7’s – July 11
These tournaments will serve as key stops on the RRRC 7’s circuit as teams compete for qualification opportunities later in the summer.
The conference is currently seeking bids for a third RRRC 7’s qualifier for the date of July 25th. Clubs interested in hosting the additional qualifier are encouraged to submit a bid as soon as possible.
Bids Open for TOLA 7’s Events
In addition to RRRC qualifiers, the Texas Rugby Union is also accepting bids to host TOLA 7’s events. Please do also announce your non-qualifying, planned tournaments. These tournaments play an important role and will be added to the TOLA calendar. Furthermore, they help in expanding 7’s opportunities across the region and providing competitive match play for teams preparing for championship pathways.
How to Submit a Bid
Clubs interested in hosting either the third RRRC qualifier or a TOLA 7’s event can submit their bid through the following form:
