Certifications and Courses Available
This year features a robust lineup of World Rugby and USA Rugby certification courses to help your club remain fully compliant and safe. Registrations are available for the following courses:
- Coach Level 1 (Saturday or Sunday options available)
- Coach Level 2 (Two-day Saturday and Sunday course)
- Referee Level 1 (Saturday or Sunday options available)
- Referee Coach Level 1 (Saturday)
- Community Judicial Officer (CJO) Disciplinary Course (Two-day Saturday and Sunday course)
- Strength and Conditioning Level 1 (Sunday)
TRU and Rugby Texas AGMs
Beyond field skills, the Summit serves as the administrative heart of our region. The TRU and Rugby Texas Annual General Meetings will take place over the weekend. This is where club leaders have a direct voice in our union governance, seasonal competitive structures, and the future growth of the game in Texas. Clubs are highly encouraged to send 4 to 5 representatives to cover all bases and bring maximum value back to their home pitches.
Celebration: Welcome Social and Hall of Fame Banquet
We are kicking off the festivities on Friday night at the expansive hotel bar. Participants who book their stay through our official hotel block will receive complimentary drinks and snacks as a special perk.
The ultimate culmination of our 55th anniversary happens Saturday night at the 11th Class Hall of Fame Banquet. It will be an unforgettable evening honoring the legends who shaped our history. If you sign up for any certification course at the Summit, you can unlock a heavily discounted Hall of Fame ticket during your registration process.
Registration Perks and Deadlines
Every early registered attendee will receive a limited edition 55th Anniversary TRU Union Coin and access to the Friday night Welcome Social. Please note that while all attendees are welcome at the social, only those who book their stay through our official hotel block will receive complimentary drinks and snacks. All other attendees will have full access to a cash bar. This custom challenge coin is a strictly limited, one-time order and will not be duplicated.
Important Deadlines:
- Sunday, August 14: Deadline to register to guarantee your 55th Anniversary Coin and lunch options. This is also the final day to book a room under our discounted hotel block rate.
