Community Judicial Officer (CJO) Disciplinary Course (Saturday & Sunday)

Aug 29 & 30, SATURDAY & SUNDAY COURSE – This is for representatives of USA Rugby Unions, SYROs, and Competitions who will serve as Disciplinary Chairs, Community Judicial Officers, and/or Disciplinary Panel members. Unlike World Rugby JOs, Community JOs do not need to be lawyers or legal professionals.

This in-person course focuses on training participants in the official World Rugby Disciplinary process for the purpose of running Disciplinary Panels in accordance with World Rugby guidelines. Attendees will learn how to align local disciplinary processes with current World Rugby protocols to ensure growth, consistency, and fairer outcomes across community competitions.

Note: After attending this workshop, participants are not yet fully certified but will be eligible to gain USA Rugby CJO certification through a transcript process. A dedicated lunch break will be provided during the course, and there are plenty of excellent dining options located nearby around the hotel area.

Two-Step Registration Process

To secure your spot, you must register here on the TRU site so we can confirm your physical attendance and coordinate directly with the USA Rugby Education department, and you must also complete your official course enrollment directly through USA Rugby in Rugby Xplorer.

• Step 1: Complete Your TRU Local Perks Registration
  • Add this product to your cart right here on the TRU Store website and complete checkout. Your registration fee on this site is $0. Completing this local checkout is required so we know you are attending and can coordinate the logistics with the USA Rugby Education department. This also locks in your commemorative coin order and your social event access.
• Step 2: Complete Official USA Rugby Enrollment in RX
  • Log in to Rugby Xplorer (RX): Access your USA Rugby membership profile by logging in through the USA Rugby Member Login Portal (RX).
  • Open the Learning Center: From the left hand menu column on your dashboard, click Learning Center, then click on your name.
  • Browse the Catalog: Select Course Catalog to view available in-person clinics or online webinars.
  • Enroll & Checkout: Choose your specific CJO session, add it to your cart, and complete your registration payment. Note that the standard course fee of $375 is paid directly within RX during this step.
