Nov 7 – SATURDAY COURSE – Registration closes October 22, 2021

This Level 1 Strength and Conditioning course is designed to provide beginners with basic knowledge and understanding of strength and conditioning and a foundation of practical skills. The course will expand on the physical conditioning content in the Rugby Ready course. It is intended for all coaches, referees, players, administrators, parents, and others who are involved with rugby. Participants do not need to have previous experience in Strength & Conditioning as this course primarily centers around preparing athletes to perform and recover.

Prerequisites
The World Rugby Pre-Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Course is a requirement for this course.

NOTE: USA Rugby is implementing COVID precautions at courses. We will abide by the recommendations of both local health authorities and World Rugby’s recommendations for running COVID-aware courses. All participants must wear a mask, and will be required to answer symptom questions before being allowed to attend. 

All courses include a ticket to the Friday night Welcome Social, lunch (on the given course day(s)) and a T-shirt. We will request your desired T-shirt size closer to the event.

2021 TRU Summit

The Texas Rugby Union is holding our sixth annual Regional Development Summit on November 5-7 in Pflugerville, TX at  the Courtyard by Marriott Pflugerville Conference Center. For the courses that require outdoor facilities we’ve partnered with a nearby public park.

This event is for rugby folk of all levels including adults, college, high school, youth, men, women, fans, coaches, referees, players and really anyone that loves rugby. Join us for an entire weekend full of learning, development, networking and socializing.
