USA Rugby is offering Community Judicial Officer (CJO) Training in the World Rugby Disciplinary process, in Dallas, TX on June 8-9. This workshop equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to run Disciplinary Panels in accordance with World Rugby guidelines. Although attendees are not certified as Community Judicial Officers (CJO) upon completion, they become eligible to pursue USA Rugby CJO certification through a transcript process.
This training is ideal for representatives of USA Rugby Unions, SYROs, and Competitions who will serve as Disciplinary Chairs, Community Judicial Officers, and/or Disciplinary Panel members. Unlike World Rugby JOs, Community JOs do not need to be lawyers or legal professionals.
When/Where:
- Dates: June 8-9
- Time: Saturday 1pm – 9:30pm (evening meal provided), Sunday 9am-1pm
- Location: Hampton Inn & Suites, Ft Worth, TX
- Room Rate: $134/night

If the TRU will make a recommendation on your behalf (see above about emailing Zach and Scot) then workshop costs and Saturday night dinner will be covered by USA Rugby. Attendees or their sponsoring organizations are responsible for all other expenses, including travel and lodging.
Accepted participants will receive preparatory materials via email a few weeks before the workshop. This will ensure everyone arrives ready to engage with the training content effectively.
