Summit on the Game
UPDATE 8/29: Due to the continued effects of Hurricane Harvey the location has changed to Austin. All courses will be held at Travis High School, 1211 E Oltorf St, Austin, TX 78704 [MAP]. All course registration links will be updated soon.
The 2017 TRU Summit will be held at Travis High School in Austin, TX on September 8-10. The Summit, held annually, features an education and entertainment filled weekend with content for all members of the rugby community: coaches, referees, administrators, and players.
The event all kicks off on Friday, Sep 8 at 8:00pm. We’ll be welcoming everyone at a social happy hour. More details available soon!
Saturday begins bright and early with seven certification courses available for our members at Travis High School.
On Sunday the Coaching L300 course will wrap up (2 day course) and we’ll host our second Coaching L200 course.
Along with our unique partnership with Travis HS we are working with the Lonestar Rugby Conferenceto provide players to meet certification requirements. The Coaching and Referee courses we will be hosting utilize players for the practical portion of their courses.

Welcome Social
We’re kicking off our TRU Summit weekend with a welcome social at Uncle Billy’s Brewery on Barton Springs. We’ve reserved space on their gorgeous deck and will have appetizers and complimentary drinks (for those that arrive on time) starting at 8pm.
