The 2019 TRU Women’s Rugby All Star Challenge will be Dec 7-8 and will be held in Austin, TX! As always the TRU will have a team and will be joined by returning teams Mid-America Rugby Union, Capital Rugby Union and Stars Rugby. We have interest from a few other Unions and will announce teams as they confirm.
We’re hoping to have at least 8 teams at the event this year so we can have a full tournament atmosphere. Teams will have the opportunity to claim the first TRU All Star Challenge trophy. As in years past, all matches will be broadcast on the TRU Youtube channel.
We’ve also had a lot of interest in staff for the TRU team and so we’ll be opening applications for head coach, forwards coach, backs coach, strength & conditioning, manager and medical. Interested parties can send a resume to admin@texasrugbyunion.com by July 15, 2019.
