The TRU is excited to announce the TOLA & RRRC 7s Tournaments for this summer!
TOLA
The season begins with our traditional opener tournament in Dallas, TX at Lonestar 7s on June 11. We then have two events in the greater Austin area with Bloodfest 7s in Round Rock on June 18 in Round Rock, TX and River City in Austin, TX on July 16. Bloodfest is a TOLA and RRRC tournament.
From there, teams will travel to 7s by the Sea in Corpus Christi, TX on July 23 and then head up to Woodlands, TX for Cherrybone on July 30.
Championships will be Saturday, August 13 for in Shreveport, LA.

RRRC
The RRRC 7s Series starts at Bloodfest in Round Rock, TX on June 18, then moves to Hell or Highwater in Houston, TX and closes in Durant, OK with Choctaw 7s.
The USA Rugby National Club 7s Championships will be the weekend of August 13-14 in a TBC location. We also know that seeding is under review by the USA Rugby Club 7s Committee and we will be informed of our allocation in due course.

RRRC/TOLA Hybrid
Do note that in order to encourage increased participation and raise the level of competition within the Red River and TOLA competitions we will be utilizing the modified Hong Kong Style format again this year. Specifically this will be used for the TOLA/RRRC qualifiers this season.
This format will combine RRRC qualifier and TOLA teams during pool play. Teams will declare a week in advance of the tournament date whether they are seeking to earn TOLA or RRRC points.
Note: If a club enters two teams in the 2rd or 3rd RRRC Qualifiers, one TOLA team and one RRRC team, the TOLA and RRRC rosters are locked. Players may not cross-over between competitions / teams in the same tournament.
