The Texas Rugby Union is happy to announce that Nick James has been appointed Head Coach of the Texas Collegiate (U23) Women. Nick is a graduate of the Texas A&M Rugby program and currently plays for the Austin Valkyries. She is currently coaching in two capacities with the Woodlands High School team and is a coach of the Texas A&M Collegiate Women. Nick will be joined by assistant coaches Traci Schmidtke (forwards) and Wendy Young (backs).
The tryout date for has been set for Saturday, February 25, 2012:
Where: UT IM Fields (Located on the southeast corner of 51st and Guadalupe Streets)
Time: Saturday (8:30 am to 3:30 pm) *** This is a one day event, so please bring a sack lunch. We will have a lunch break at the fields***
Cost: The cost of the tryout is $10/player.
