    1. Chupacabras – Invoice sent 10/2
      1. Chupacabras never intended to play competitive rugby for 15s and the invoice has been canceled. 
    2. Collin County – Invoice sent 10/2, PAID 10/3
      1. Still working on getting RX access
  3. RRRC Sevens Chair Opening
    1. Fil K stepped down from RRRC spot and National spot (7s chair) for 7s competition. Thanks for your service, Fil! 
    2. Fil will help transition someone into the role. 
    3. Next RRRC meeting will discuss filling this position.
    4. Tentative / Proposed Qualifier Dates
      1. Bloodfest – June 15, 2024
      2. Choctaw – June 29, 2024
      3. Cross-over with Midwest July 13, 2024
      4. TBD July 27, 2024
        1. Open to clubs that would like to host a third qualifier- email D McPhail

  4. DC Update from Zach
    1. CLOSED EXECUTIVE DISCUSSION
    2. D McPhail reached out to Megan Braun (DC, USA Rugby) about hosting JR (Judicial Review) course in Texas. Reaching out to the national office to see if this is a possibility. TBD. 
  5. Update on ByLaws and 501c3
    1. Message sent to K Tate- no update on 501c3.
    2. ByLaw draft update no sooner than next week. Still have some structure decisions coming. 
  6. Budget to come out this week, pending Club Council approval of All Star funding
    1. Need recommendations for CPA (Hansel / KT)
    2. Hosting Gulf Coast SR- looking back at expenses. Hoping that less travel grants will make this a wash. Host should receive a grant to cover expenses, Dodge will get more details around this to McPhail. 
    3. Looking for grant from USA Rugby Club Council to cover partial costs of MGAS.
  7. RX Schedule released – 
    1. Being checked by RRRC reps by the end of the week.
    2. Any changes post 9/28 should be submitted to the Match CAD Form. 
    3. Next step will be getting matches into WTR for referee assignment. 
    4. HTX dropped a few matches without following proper protocol. New administration has been notified and given an opportunity to correct actions prior to the competitive season starting.

    2. Gulf Coast Super Regionals May 4-5, 2024 (0)

  9. Rugby Texas update
    1. Discussions being held between multi school and single school high schools with McPhail mediating. Discussions have moved to USAR. No resolution known to date and no request for TRU to govern or intervene in any way at this time. 
  10. USA Updates – Dodge
    1. Senior Club Call Wednesday night (10/18)- McPhail will have updates
    2. Emailed Andrew King regarding the Gulf Coast MOU issue. Looking for approval of a grant for Mary Graham. 
    3. Budget for the 23-24 cycle will likely see a budget increase for the Super Regional grant. Still working on financials for the last cycle. 
    4. Admin is hired at USAR Club Council and will start soon. 
  11. Division 1 Rebrand
    1. Looking at rebranding as Premiership
    2. Would include men’s and women’s (if applicable)
    3. Discussion had with men’s D1 reps as well as RRRC call around viability and next steps
    4. Would include agreement with division 1 clubs on communication, media, game day procedures, etc. 
  12. Other New Business
    1. Valkyries looking for qualifier matches towards playoffs- Dodge gave instructions for Paul G to contact USAR. 
    2. Clubs need to enter rosters, subs, scores as stated in policy. Will check that reminder was sent on social media. Seven days after we will see policies set into effect. 
    3. Clubs still out of compliance, some with upcoming friendlies. Updated report will be sent to RRRC and TRU Boards.
